Hello and welcome to Akiran Bull Terriers, we live in Perth, Western Australia.

Bull terriers had already been in my family for some 15 years when we visited the 2nd National Bull Terrier Championship Show in 1999  held in Perth.  We were so inspired we decided to buy our first pedigree Bull Terrier. We contacted Honhazsta Kennels and purchased (Levy) Honhazsta Lord Othe Ring. We showed Levy for some time and even though his show career was short lived we were hooked on the sport of dog showing and the prospect of being involved in breeding this admirable terrier.

Following on from Levy we purchased our foundation bitch from Satori Kennels, Queensland Australia  Satori Blonde Siren (Rhea).   Rhea was shown to her Australian Champion title, gaining her Championship with her second Best in Group win.

Rhea produced two litters for us, on her second mating she was mated to Ch Honhazsta Warlock The Red - ROM. She produced 9 puppies from which we kept a bitch Akiran Sugar Hiccup (Grace) . Grace has made her presence felt winning Best Baby in Show at her first Speciality show under Mr Albert Reading, breed specialist from South Australia. Grace has gone on to win numerous Class in Show and Class in Group wins through baby, minor and puppy classes. At the age of 13 1/2 months Grace gained the title of Australian Champion and is our first home bred champion.

We have plans for our future which include diversifying into frozen semen importation as well as welcoming an exciting new youngster into our care.  We look forward to sharing with you the fun, experience and benefits from these new ventures.
